History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Umpen grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: She was raised in a desert tribe. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Barrister. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: She comes from a rich western family. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
