History: Lamlis lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Habor was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born to a Dyer, her father struggled to pay the bills. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and she would like to get married and retire

Description: A woman with a calm yet intense air about her, she wears professional attire. Her black hair has been sun bleached extensively. She tend to wears goggles to shield her eyes.

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion.
