History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Dragonborn companion (her 'brother'). She has dedicated herself to building a better kind of golem.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Dragonborn artifacts is her passion; and meet up once more with her childhood friend
