History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Berrian was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: She thrives on attention. She does whatever is in her power to gain the attention of whomever she deems a fit date. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Lorilla was born on a far northern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Layabout. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
