History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Blacksmith they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Sailor, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Aasathra has worked very hard to control her curse. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and her religion dominates her actions

History: Born in the west to a Detective, Jane learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Her childhood dream was to be a Marshal, but she was a colossal failure. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Detective for hire.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He worked as a nervous Mortician and found it very stressful. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he wants revenge against giants
