History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Art grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Art. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
