Description: She wears a violet vest with golden trim over her white shirt. Her black leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and her violet boots flare out at the collars. She carries with her a set of swords on her belt, each one with a amber on the hilt. Her hair is brown and curly. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. The war was a terrible time for her, and Bethrynna does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Bethrynna was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. After a long history of fighting, Bethrynna and her spouse have recently divorced.

Description: 2'8" and muscular, this northern woman is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. She wears her black hair up. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are hazel.

Personality: She thrives on attention. She does whatever is in her power to gain the attention of whomever she deems a fit date. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: Bella lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers.

History: She was born at the edge of vast mountains. She has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: A 6'1" northern man, he has the majority of his body covered in plate. His chestnut hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His eyes are black and catlike.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Zephan has worked very hard to control his curse. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear
