History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Mayor.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 40. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Pyxrin is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Norsko was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister
