Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears a white tunic with green highlights, and long black pants that bunch up around his shoes. His golden hair is thinning but still full. His fierce brown eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: This man loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. Jak is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.
History: Jak lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: She is a paragon of her species. She is larger and stronger than most Half-Elves. Her skin is dark but she possesses many black ritualistic tattoos. She wears professional attire. With bright chestnut hair. Her blue eyes peer out from beneath her wide-brimmed violet hat.
Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She disdains her fellow easterners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.
History: The child of a Farmer, who enjoyed hunting, Melissa was taken on many hunting expeditions. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Elves in Melissa's homeland. Melissa decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Melissa fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Description: A stocky darker skinned woman, she wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. Her hair is auburn and very short. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.
Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes brigands are coming to abduct people. She is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories she has discovered
History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ahlyssa grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ahlyssa. She became a Sellsword soon after.
Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: She is of a modest build and height, but she carries herself more imposing than she is. She wears an entirely black suit with brown socks and a vest with buckled shoes. Her hair is always cut to a buzz. Her blue eyes peer out from beneath her feathered black hat.
Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. She is a great chef.
History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Stylist. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
Motivation: To protect her home; and she wants to get laid
