History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Quarethon was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. After coming to the age of reason, Ishte took it upon herself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She was granted martial powers by her dying brother.
