Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. History: Finellen hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Finellen was born on a far western forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Tanner. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
