Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This northern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She is typically in her Fisher uniform. Her red hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. She wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes illithids are coming to abduct people. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Myev was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She became a Fisher soon after.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and revenge

Voice: Speaks fast with a slight lisp

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears baggy green pantaloons and a white scarf, and a wedding ring on his right hand. His dark red hair is heavily combed to the right. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his gold eyes.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Cairn alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge.
