His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and to share knowledge with the world

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. After a long history of fighting, Cloud and his spouse have recently divorced.
