Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Malquis embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. Malquis is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Through the years after Malquis was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Malquis's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: Ortegar speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Ortegar lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and doesn't want to be a animal trainer and was forced into it by his family

History: Carrie was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He worked as a nervous Fletcher and found it very stressful. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
