History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Zagga grew up listening to her father's many stories. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she prefers to wear flannel. Her wide-brimmed hat is riddled with cuts and holes. She wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing singing.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered singing. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many dire rats want her driven away; and she wants revenge against dire rats

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He worked as a nervous Soapmaker and found it very stressful. He tends to his Soapmaker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Soapmaker responsibilities is difficult; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep blue.

Personality: She is envious of other's things. She hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that she so desires. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Gillyd was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student she started as a Miller, but she got bored and became a Mayor. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
