History: Born to a Barkeep, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He now mingles about in high society.
