She tends to wear a white poncho over her likewise colored trousers and shirt, and her gloved hand is found clutching a bow. With wild silver hair. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her gray eyes.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Volen was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. Oren enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has worked as a Unemployed like his father before him.

In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears bulky pastel painted plate armor, and is pretty ugly. Her fur is orange and curly. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To be a Merchant again; and further expansion of business
