History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Roger hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Through the years after Roger was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Roger's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away; and a deep hatred of brigands

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered north to less war torn lands. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To end her boredom; and she seems to be bored by most things
