History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Hecat was born on a far eastern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Adventurer. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and doesn't want to be a miner and was forced into it by his family

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and halfling compassion
