Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'3" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His eyes are likewise hazel. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Varis embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Through the years after Varis was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Varis's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She now mingles about in high society.

Description: He is an average looking northern male in his early mid-life. He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). His golden hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His eyes are blue and beady.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: He got into the Ruler business at a young age. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He became a Ruler soon after.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it
