History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Description: This woman stands a little under 5'6" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. Her beige fur is lengthy. Her skin is flawless and her copper eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: Jarsali lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and an old rival family wants her found

Description: This man wears tattered old clothes, and sports empty pouches on his belt. His golden hair is smooth and relatively long. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines violet.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Born in the north to a Tanner, Grumbar learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
