She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 5 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Pennie never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: Born to a Knight, her mother struggled to pay the bills. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
