History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 8 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Verin never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Simon is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. After a long history of fighting, Simon and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Miller arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He moved out west to avoid the crime he committed. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
