History: Tree lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Her divine abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was born into a rich family. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Being a Knight kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
