History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: River hails from a village terrorized by goblins. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and she wants revenge against goblins
