History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He worked as a nervous Blacksmith and found it very stressful. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. A true patriot, Geoffrey would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was born into a rich family. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She worked as a nervous Shepherd and found it very stressful. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
