History: The child of a Miner, who enjoyed hunting, Xappan was taken on many hunting expeditions. He worked as a nervous Ruler and found it very stressful. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When Bernard reached his early adolescence his Half-Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 2 years.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: She got into the Miner business at a young age. She was taken from her home at a very young age. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nagrette fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
