Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He dresses in tan turtlenecks beneath a black coat with white slacks. He has a very tight haircut. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Alston embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and retire the richest man in the east

Description: She wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally she sports a violet coat. Her golden hair is well kept. Her ears are large.

Personality: She is envious of other's things. She hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that she so desires. Her job bores her to no end. She has decided to make it more interesting.

History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. She found a children's book about a Half-Elf Expert who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she has passion for adventuring and risk

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Blacksmith responsibilities is difficult; and she is unsatisfied with her job

Description: A pudgy man standing about 4'1" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears silk and lounges about seductively. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His amber eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He hates Dwarves with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ulfgar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Gnomish compassion; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
