History: Nykkan was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His childhood dream was to be a Jeweler, but he was a colossal failure. He tends to his Glassblower job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Althaea was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. A gifted student she started as a Servant, but she got bored and became a Shoemaker. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Shoemaker for the past few years.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job.
