History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Tabaxis in Trail's homeland. Trail decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She comes from a rich western family. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Mardnab was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her father.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.
