Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dragonborns in the north were limited. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Peren never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Maynild was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered painting. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear.
