Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
