Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He tends to his Dilettante job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. His addictions have taken their toll on his wallet, and he has found himself with a great deal of debt owed.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and wants to work out more often

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
