History: Criella was born with her mother's beautiful face. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered east to less war torn lands. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

History: Uadjit was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student she started as a Doctor, but she got bored and became a Layabout. Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it
