History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Balifra was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Balifra's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She's also a talented Map Maker, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
