Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Ashgarn was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Ashgarn was born on a far northern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Mercenary. After a long history of fighting, Ashgarn and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: Tim lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Tim was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: She got into the Baker business at a young age. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to reunite with her old friends
