Description: An older man who is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time, he is not a threatening figure. His scarlet crest is matted, messy, and big. His eyes are red.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Stableman arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Simon embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Simon was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and she is greedy

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She's also a talented Ruler, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs
