History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Therlin grew up listening to her father's many stories. In her 13th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: She was born at the edge of vast island. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Description: 6'8" and muscular, this southern man prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. His white crest is smooth and relatively long. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are red.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Rathkran's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.
