History: He comes from a rich western family. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Dain has worked very hard to control his curse. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Gnomes in Duvamil's homeland. Duvamil decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away
