Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. A true patriot, Oppleby would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Born in the west to a Layabout, Oppleby learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He worked as a nervous Layabout and found it very stressful. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Layabout for hire.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Layabout responsibilities is difficult; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: Cora was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She tends to her Bounty Hunter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and to end her boredom

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Vicky grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Vicky. Being a Mortician kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help
