History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Seamstress. She has worked as a Seamstress like her mother before her.

Motivation: She wants revenge against dire rats.

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and doesn't want to be a miller and was forced into it by her family

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying south to reunite her family. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
