His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Patrick is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Gnomes in Luthra's homeland. Luthra decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Tieflings in Mordai's homeland. Mordai decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
