Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. The war was a terrible time for him, and Mûglûk does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Mûglûk was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Mûglûk alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to clean up the streets

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Mishann was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: An older woman who likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather, she is not a threatening figure. Her chestnut hair has been sun bleached extensively. Her eyes are amber and beady.

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes
