Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He has purple hair. He has gold eyes.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Born to a Healer, his father struggled to pay the bills. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. He tends to his Layabout job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He wants to get laid; and he's in love

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Oblar embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Through the years after Oblar was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Oblar's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Gimurt lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Animal Trainer, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister
