Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body, and is pretty ugly. Sporting a blonde mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His eyes are amber and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born in the north. Through the years after Zaffrab was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Zaffrab's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Description: A pudgy man standing about 3'3" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He is well dressed, constantly wearing a blue suit, brown shirt, and green tie. His brown hair is braided into rings. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Fonkin embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. After a long history of fighting, Fonkin and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the south. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

Motivation: To end her boredom; and money/treasure

Description: This man is very fat, and wears a black cloak and cross-gartered brown stockings. His hair is always cut to a buzz. This green eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. A true patriot, Ar-Karo would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the east. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Fortune-teller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
