If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tabaxis in the south were limited. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.
