Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: He got into the Doctor business at a young age. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and further expansion of business

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Laborer. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.
