History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Merla and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Dwarves.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.
