Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Syllin is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Syllin was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She found a children's book about a Elf Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He got into the Layabout business at a young age. Through the years after Kothûg was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Kothûg's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
