History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. After coming to the age of reason, Shifting took it upon herself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shifting fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He hates Tieflings with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Balam grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Balam. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: Birel lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

History: Nithther was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He became a Detective soon after.
